Maniac-Red

So my life has been moving along steadily and in many wonderful ways. However its come to my attention i've neglected my DA going on a few years now. I won't promise anything big, but I am going to try to update this account with some new things. I've put down the pencil and focused a lot more on cosplay and prop work, so i'm going to try to get back into sketching as well as updating my Cosplay and props progress on here more. I may however just neglect this again after all, but i'm going to at least try for now.

Now that i'm back home, its time for a con report! (calm down people) I must say for going to Matsuri for the first time I was somewhat impressed. It definately was ran very well for its size. I can't say the most about its panels, but the ones it did have seemed well run and on time. Overall there was a fun feel to the con. I had a blast running into some old friends as well as making some awesome new ones. Many wacky adventures were had, hilarious jokes were laughed to, a few marriage proposals were made and some heavy drinking was thrown in for good measure. All in all I'd love to go again. I premiered my Gig cosplay. I was not recognized but I still would have been shocked if I had been. Also since it was easter weekend, I wore the march Hare. It was a quite a hit. XD Well thats the bulk of my rant. Next up is Akon. Can't wait to see everyone.

So I know its been roughly forever and a day since I updated my DA journal. (surprise surprise) Anyways things seem to be looking favorable and I may be going to Anime Matsuri this year. I'll keep this short and sweet. I'll be leaving friday morning and I'd like to know if any of my Dallas buddies (or perhaps OK buddies who come meet me in town) were needing a ride, and would like to ride with? You would have to chip in for gas of coarse, but it should be pretty affordable. My cosplay planned for this con is a mystery. (even to me as I write this. ) Anyways bye all and I can't wait to run into new and old friends alike.

Ok so as for me I regret to say I'm a lazy head and I never commented on Izumi con or Yule con. XD I zumi was a great time spent with and and ran into many others. :3 I hadn;t been back to ok in a while so it was fun to see some old faces. Also our Kuro Circus group took best in show which was completely awesome. :3

Yule con was great for socialising with more of the awesome and talented cosplayers in Texas. I regretably got very sick though so even though I only went for one day, I spent the majority of it very sick. :/ But overal I still had fun and was glad to see people there.

Last and most important, I'm trying to go to Ikki con, but my rust bucket won't make the drive. Is anyone near wichita falls, in the dallas/ FTW area or passing through going that could squeeze an extra person in?

So this weekend was Onicon and I had an awesome time. I got to hang out with some amazing people. and many more. I don't know if they have DAs or not. XD I ran around in Joker from Kuroshitsuji for most of the con and the Kuro circus group I was in won an award in the cosplay walk ons. I had so much fun this weekend and I met so many wonderful people. I'd love to go to more cons and have this much fun all of the time. Anyways other than the hotel being far too small for the con,. I had no real complaints. I look fowards to the next one and Now I must prepare for Izumicon. Only a week and a half away. XD
